M3 Sound, Lighting & Staging, Inc.

Event production.Start with a plan.

Bring us your program, venue and priorities. We’ll work through the sound, lighting and staging with you, whether you have a detailed brief or a few questions.

Sound planned for the space

From a smaller gathering to a large outdoor show, the sound system should fit the space, the program and the audience. M3 provides audio systems for spoken presentations, live music and events that combine both. We work through the venue layout, audience area, performers and playback needs to plan a setup suited to the event.

For line array deployments, we use acoustic prediction software to model coverage before arriving on site. That planning helps guide speaker placement and system design around the areas that need coverage, with clear speech and balanced music as the goal. Bring a detailed technical brief or the questions you’re still working through—we can help define what the setup calls for.

Lighting for the performance

Red lighting beams across a live performance

Lighting helps the audience follow the performance and shapes the feel of the show. We discuss stage visibility, the mood you want and how the lighting should change with the program.

For Blue Ox, M3 provided the complete audio and lighting package. For your event, start with the performance, venue and intended look so we can discuss a design that fits.

Staging and mobile stages

A concert, dance competition and school performance ask different things of a stage. We offer mobile staging and modular decks, and work through the layout, access and schedule with you.

M3 provided an SL100 mobile stage for the UWEC Bonfire. Tell us what will happen on your stage, the space available and your setup window so we can discuss the right configuration.

Competition and performance events

Dance competitions

Taking a competition from venue to venue means working through a new set of details each time. Share your performance footprint, surface requirements, access and setup schedule so we can discuss the staging for each stop.

Need sound or lighting as well? Bring those requirements into the conversation. Travel depends on the order, location and schedule.

Show choir

For schools and show choir organizers, the stage arrangement is part of a larger performance plan. Tell us about the groups, rehearsals and technical requirements so we can discuss staging, sound and lighting together.

Include the venue layout and time available for setup. We’ll use those details to work through the production questions with you.

Work through the whole plan

Tell us about power, video, barricade needs and the other vendors involved. Discussing those details early helps establish what M3 will provide and who is handling each part of the event.
